These resources on Kansas Immunizations Statutes and Kansas Immunization Regulations were
compiled by Sunee Mickle, J.D., at the Kansas Health Institute. The research was conducted
through an Internet search, particularly through use of references on the Kansas Legislature
Web site,
http://www.kslegislature.org/legsrv-legisportal/index.do.
These resources are in response to a request posed by the Immunize Kansas Kids Workgroup
for more information on regulations and statutes in Kansas which address childhood immunizations.
Although this information is applicable to the IKK project, the statutes and regulations listed
are not all-encompassing of all Kansas statutes and regulations on immunizations. For instance,
the regulations and statutes listed do not specifically address the immunization of adults or
healthcare workers.
In addition, this information should be used to understand current Kansas statutes and regulations
and should not be confused for the authentic language of the regulations and statutes. Rather, the
information listed in these documents is a summary of information.
